Located on the same site ever since, the school's name is a tribute to the Avis dynasty, whose legacy of knowledge and culture has influenced generations. With its name inspired by a dynasty that distinguished itself by making Portuguese society evolve, Colégio Príncipes de Aviz has, within its humble home, aspired to train a generation capable of changing the world. In order to change the world, we need to recognize what exists in it, what is experienced in it and what emotions these experiences evoke.
